SCT's Livewire TS+ device is a powerful tool, but figuring out where to start and how to get your custom tunes loaded into your truck can be tricky. We put together this guide to help walk you through what you need to do to get your 5-Star Custom Tunes loaded when using an SCT Livewire TS+ device. SCT devices and software are only compatible with Microsoft Windows computers

My computer won't recognize my Livewire.
- You likely need manually install SCT's device drivers. Often, the SCT driver's included on the disk in the Livewire box are not the latest from SCT. Get the latest device drivers from SCT: Click Here.
SCT's Device Updater Software can't find my Livewire.
- You likely need the latest version of SCT's Device Updater Software. Often, the Device Updater Software included on the Livewire's disk is not the latest version. Download the latest Device Updater Software from SCT: Click Here.
I can't see the entire Device Updater Screen.
- If it looks like your device updater screen is cut off, your likely problem is your computer's DPI or display item size. The quick fix is to search either 'DPI' or 'Item Size' in your Windows Control Panel and reduce the size down to 100% or lower, until the entire device updater screen is visible.
My Livewire does not recognize my truck.
- This is generally caused by the Livewire having outdated firmware pre-installed. Use your Device Updater Software to update the Livewire's firmware to its latest version.
My Livewire throws a 110xx Error Code when trying to tune the truck.
- This is usually caused by a mismatch in firmware between the SCT software that was used to create the tunes and the firmware on the device. Updating the device's firmware with SCT's Device Updater can usually solve the problem. However, if the problem persists, SCT will have to 'brute force' a firmware update, and you'll need to call them directly at 407-774-2447.
I loaded a tune into my truck, but it only took a few seconds, and I don't feel a difference.
- What happened is that the Livewire didn't actually load a tune into your truck . The most common cause of this issue is that there is either a '0' or a 'No' set in your TPMS line on the adjustable options menu. Try putting a value of 1 or greater in the TPMS line and try loading the tune again.
